Based on true events, Not About Heroes explores the life-altering friendship between, Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon. As officers in the gory trenches of World War I, once known as the “war to end all wars,” each was decorated for bravery. As two of England’s finest poets, each wrote candidly about, “the pity of war, the pity war distills.” Only one of them survived the war to tell their story.
There will be Sunday matinees on April 24 and May 1 at 2pm.
