But who is Almira Gulch? It’s been many years since Dorothy and The Wizard of Oz charmed America. But there’s another side to the Oz legend: the dark side of the rainbow. Poor Almira Gulch! For fifty years, this dog-snatching, basket-wielding spiteful spinster-next-door has intrigued us, but has never had the chance to give us her side of the story…until now! Here she is back in all the glory Hollywood denied her.
Well, now its Almira’s turn to give us her side of story! She has remained misunderstood, underestimated, and unappreciated. And through the decades, frustrated fans have hungered for solutions to the mysteries surrounding the legendary Miss Gulch. Why does she ride that bike? What does she have against neighborhood girls and their little dogs too? What becomes of her after the tornado? Did she have a happy childhood? And most of all — who is the real woman beneath that ferocious façade?
