About This Show

Cinderella is the story you know but with a few twists! The opera takes place in the late eighteenth century and instead of losing a glass slipper at the ball, Cinderella gives the Prince one of two matching bracelets and he knows he’s found her again when he finds the bracelet matching his. Another difference is that the “fairy godmother” figure in the opera is a man of the court, Alidoro, who invites Cinderella to the ball.

Cinderella is sung in Italian, but audiences will understand every word with the English translations projected above the stage.
