About This Show

Populated by playboys and chorines, con-men and hookers, The Wild Party revolves around vaudeville performers Queenie and Burrs. These two are passionate and violent -on the brink of ecstasy and agony. When their life together has hit the skids, Queenie decides it’s time for a change, and they throw the party to end all parties. Queenie and Burrs set out to make each other jealous, but Queenie begins to fall in love with her conquest named Black. The exhilarating night of debauchery ends with shocking consequences — the pack of well-oiled revelers experiencing more than they ever bargained for.

Andrew Lippa’s musical is adapted from a book-length poem written in and about the Roaring Twenties.
