About This Show

Show Pony is comprised of scenes written by Jay Steigmann and Emily Boardman. Butch Jerinic, best known for her stage work with Second City Las Vegas and GayCo, directs the show. Expect scenes about the Trail of Tears, religion, morality, and the “proper” way to live and rear children in the city. Steigmann, Boardman, and Jerinic provide a distinct point of view in an entertaining way.

Opening the show for The One Trick Ponies is Michael Moore. After two sell-out runs this summer and fall, Michael Moore is back with his one-man show! Moore is a monologist, with the eyes of a young Elizabeth Taylor. He is NOT to be mistaken for the “other” Flint-based Michael Moore. Moore’s one-man show tells the tale of a fabulous artist trying to cope in a not-so-fabulous world.
