Set Up

Cheryl, a neurologist, has reluctantly agreed to go on her last first date before she leaves for a two-year assignment with Doctors Without Borders. Ted, a lawyer, is on his first date since his divorce several years ago. They have pulled themselves together just enough for a blind date at an odd restaurant in Chicago’s Rogers Park. Their awkward evening is further complicated by a meddling waiter, Cheryl’s soccer mom best friend, and Ted’s well meaning but clueless brother.
