About This Show

Long before Simba claimed the Prideland, before Tarzan swung on vines, Rudyard Kipling spun fantasies of life deep in the wilds on India. This is the story of Mowgli, a baby lost in the jungle. Sponsored by a panther and adopted by a family of wolves, Mowgli grows up with cobras, jackals, monkeys and bears. But the tiger, Shere Kahn, fears the man-cub and the lessons of the jungle become vital to Mowgli’s survival. Travel to Emerald City for the first (and possibly greatest) jungle adventure of all time — Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book. Directed by Ernie Nolan, director with Kansas City’s Coterie Theater, one of Time Magazine’s Top 5 Children’s Theatres in the nation, where he just staged the Reale brothers’ first new play since Frog & Toad, The Dinosaur Musical.

Adapted by the award-winning team Steve Goers and Alyn Cardarelli.
