About This Show

This quirky new comedy by Canadian playwright Jonathan Wilson is about the trials and tribulations that face a man in a skirt. Kilt follows two men: Tom, a stripper in the present, and in the past, Mac, Tom’s grandfather as a young man – fighting in the Great War. As this play unfolds, both men (played by the same actor) come to terms with themselves: Mac with his wavering sexuality and Tom with his family heritage and pride in himself. Uniting them both is the same plaid tartan worn by Mac as a soldier and Tom as a dancer – and a secret.
