Ensemble member John Malkovich returns to direct Terry Johnson’s comedy about the last days of Sigmund Freud. The setting is 1939. Sigmund Freud has relocated from Nazi-occupied Vienna to a quiet London suburb in hopes of settling down. A naked woman in a closet, the destruction of Freud’s latest publication, and a berating by Salvador Dali soon disrupt Freud’s retirement. Come find out why the father of psychoanalysis is so close to hysteria.
