About This Show

Lifeline Theatre will present Sandra Jackson-Opoku’s work-in-development, Hungry Ghost Festival (adapted from her new novel “Black Rice”) as part of their first Adaptation Development Showcase, Friday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 23 at 4 p.m. at Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N. Glenwood Ave.

Hungry Ghost Festival tells the story of Shanghai’s Hungry Ghost Festival, where each year spirit Luz Lee reappears inexplicably.
