Bailiwick’s Primary Season concludes with the Chicago premiere of Michael John LaChiusa’s First Lady Suite. Produced to wide acclaim by the New York Shakespeare Festival’s Joseph Papp Public Theatre and recently revised and revived, First Lady Suite is composed of four chamber pieces, ranging from riotously funny to hauntingly lyrical, focusing on celebrated first ladies and the people surrounding them.
