Summer, 1977. Ken is a legless Vietnam vet hiding from life at the large country farm he shares with his lover. The couple is hosting a variety of loved ones for the holiday weekend, including Ken’s spacey aunt, tart-tongued sister, sassy teenage niece, and oldest childhood friend. As the play progresses, Ken and his guests trade hilarious anecdotes and bitter recriminations about the past, all while struggling to make peace with the irrevocable choices each have made.
