About This Show

Considered to be one of Samuel Beckett’s finest works, Endgame touches upon the whole of the human condition. The story details the relationship between a blind old man in a wheelchair, Hamm, and his servant and eyes, Clov. It is peppered with banter from Hamm’s parents, Nagg and Nell, both legless and placed in separate ashbins against the wall. Though they perceive the world to be dead, everyday is an awful routine with the same extended farce, the same bickering cruelty, the same all-encompassing selfishness and stupidity. Only Beckett could create such a world and make observing it so enjoyable and entertaining.
