Under the direction of the Village Players Theatre’s Artist Director, Carl O’cchipinti, this charming play tells the story of the relationship between an elderly Southern Jewish widow and her African-American chauffeur. Over their twenty five years together, spanning 1948-1973, their friendship evolves as they face aging and complex social issues of the time. Written by Alfred Uhry, Driving Miss Daisy won the 1988 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
