About This Show

Show has been extended to December 29th.

Provision Theater Company begins their fourth season with the Chicago Premiere of C.S. Lewis on Stage, a one-man show adapted by Tom Key, directed by Tim Gregory, and starring Bradley Armacost.

C.S. Lewis on Stage captures the personality and fiction of the author of The Chronicles of Narnia, The Screwtape Letters, and the subject of the Anthony Hopkins film Shadowlands – an Oxford don who could make his audience think as deeply as he made them laugh. Melding conversations with the audience and pieces of his famous literature, C.S. Lewis on Stage provides an intimate look at a man we’ve all read, but know almost nothing about.

Bradley Armacost is a Jeff Award winning Chicago-based actor, well known for his performances at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (Cymbeline), Steppenwolf (Maria Arndt), Goodman Theatre (Oedipus Complex, Christmas Carol), and Victory Gardens (Waiting for Godot).

The production staff includes John Zuiker (Scenic Designer), and Josh Preston (Lighting Designer).
