Chicago Sings Disney

Porchlight Music Theatre Artistic Associates Rob Lindley and Doug Peck created the annual Chicago Sings concert where on one night each year, Chicago’s leading performers gather to support Chicago’s leading presenter of music theater, Porchlight Music Theatre with a concert highlighting a specific songwriter, duo or group. Hosted by Lindley, with Peck often accompanying performers on piano, this year’s special fundraising event features performances of songs created from the Walt Disney Studios.

Chicago Sings Disney includes hits, award-winners and hidden gems from such songwriters as Peggy Lee, Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, Roger Miller, Randy Newman and the Sherman Brothers. “Let it Go,” “When You Wish Upon A Star,” “Candle on the Water,” “Bear Necessities,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls” and “It’s A Small World” are some of the night’s featured performances.*
