About This Show

Set in the tumultous pre-World War II Berlin at the start of the Third Reich, Cabaret tells the story of English cabaret performer, Sally Bowles, and the brief affair she has with American writer Clifford Bradshaw, who agrees to take her in after she is kicked out of the seedily glamorous Kit Kat Club where she performs. Love develops between the two, as it does between Clifford’s German landlady, Fraulein Schneider and her Jewish suitor Herr Schultz. As the Kit Kat Club’s lascivious Emcee comments on the proceedings, tragedy is imminent for the foursome as the Nazi takeover begins.

There are special additional Saturdya matinees at 3pm on November 29 and December 6.
