About This Show

The eighth annual Night of Dread is a serious/raucous/loud/rambunctious/celebratory/tender community procession and festive event that compels us to call on, mock and banish the fears that unite and divide us. It is an evening of pageantry, music, and masquerade incorporating towering puppets, stilt dancers and fearful masks in a daring and demonic community parade.

Parade Assembly begins at 3:00 p.m; the parade leaves at 5:45pm and returns to Dufferin Grove Park around 7:30pm for a night of festive fun until the spirits of the dead are satisfied!

The parade will travel from Dufferin Grove Park (Bloor and Dufferin), north along Dufferin to Croatia St., west on Croatia to Brock, north on Brock to Bloor, east on Bloor to Ossington, south on Ossington to Dewson, west on Dewson to Havelock, then north and into the park.
