Game of Love and Chance, The

Marivaux’s original French work has gotten a new translation and direction by John Van Burek. The Game of Love and Chance is a comedy about love. Silvia has been bethrothed to Dorante, the son of her father’s friend. In order to avoid an unhappy marriage, Silvia switches roles with her servant so she can observe Dorante before the wedding. What ensues is truly comic.
