About This Show

Set in the same seedy motel room, George F. Walker’s Adult Entertainment and End of Civilization are rich and humorous dark comedies featuring two highly unorthodox undercover cops, Max and Donnie. In Adult Entertainment, Donnie falls into a downward spiral of drunkenness and broken relationships, while Max and a zealous Crown lawyer embark on a sexual liaison in a misguided attempt to manipulate the justice system. In End of Civilization, Max and Donnie return to the motel to investigate a desperate middle-class couple, Henry and Lily, who, fearful of losing everything due to recent corporate downsizing, may or may not be connected to a series of murders in nearby factories.

Both plays are directed by Factory’s Artistic Director Ken Gass with Walker as consulting director.
