New York City
In the play, a thrice-widowed 80-year-old woman takes the audience on a restless journey through 20th century Jewish life: from her childhood in a Ukrainian shtetl, to a Warsaw ghetto, to Atlantic City, and finally Miami; with side trips to a hippie commune in Connecticut and an Israeli settlement on the West Bank.
