About This Show

Regretosexual, a solo show written and performed by Dan Rothenberg, is a one man exploration of the depth and breadth of human sexuality. In this autobiographical tale, Dan, now living in LA, is preparing to go out on a date with his girlfriend, Steph. It’s not just any date. This is their six month anniversary, and Steph is the woman Dan wants to marry. But before he poses that question, Dan just needs to tell Steph one little thing. Nothing big. Just that he had a couple of gay experiences. Well, three years worth. While living in San Francisco. Is that a big deal? Dan hopes not. Surely Steph wouldn’t associate this with what happened to her ex-boyfriend, a man she was deeply in love with, who announced that he was gay and promptly left her. This is different. This is the complete opposite. Right? Regretosexual is the hilarious exploration of the fluidity of sexuality and how it effects those caught somewhere in the middle.
