Poetics of Space

Poetics of Space is JGPG’s latest venture into creating dance theater that offers limitless potential for providing each audience member with a unique, personal “human scale” experience. Poetics of Space—derived from the book “The Poetics of Space” by French philosopher Gaston Bachelard—will explore a series of intimate spaces within the installation, and allow the viewer a cinematic “close-up” experience of each space. Imagine moving through a performance where you can create your own adventure; where your decision of where to turn, to step, to look, and to listen will determine how the performance unfolds around you.
