About This Show

In their long-awaited return engagement at the New Conservatory Theatre Center, the Kinsey Sicks turn their considerable talents to the global effort to stamp out holiday cheer. No sacred cow is left standing after the Kinseys visit the creche. (Really, don’t ask.) Oy Vey in a Manger combines the Kinsey Sicks’ award-winning a cappella singing, biting wit and over-the-top drag in a theatrical attempt to answer the age-old Yuletide question: “Why is this night different from all other nights?” The show includes the premiere of some hot new Kinsey songs to warm those tepid winter nights, including an array of holiday favorites, performed the way you always wanted (but were too afraid of your nuns/rabbis/preachers to attempt). These soon-to-be-classics include “Lusty the Snowman,” “God Bless Ye Femmy Lesbians,” “A Lay in the Manger,” and the new Christmas cuisine standard, “Soylent Night.”

There are no shows on December 24 & 25 and January 1. There is a special 10th Anniversary show on Tuesday, December 30, and they are performing New Years Eve, Dec 31.
