California Shakespeare Theater produces Henry IV, Dakin Matthews’ adaptation of Shakespeare¹s Henry IV, Parts One and Two, as part of its 30th Anniversary season, which condenses Shakespeare¹s two original parts into one evening that promises to be the theater event of the season. These two plots intersect in compelling, dramatic and sometimes humorous ways in Henry 4, as we witness Prince Hal’s transformation into King Henry V, one of the most powerful leaders in English history. Henry IV is directed by Mladen Kiselov.
