About This Show

Mary Kelly, in a one-woman performance, shows that slavery before the Emancipation Act was a forerunner of what still exists today as “human trafficking.” In Harriet Tubman–Saving the Stolen: Freedom from Human Trafficking, she plays the Conductor of slavery’s Underground Railroad. We get to experience her suffering and her motivation for leading others from captivity through danger to freedom.
