About the Show
In La Pastorela, glorious archangels battle evil devils for the souls of humanity in this traditional Mexican-flavored Christmas musical. It tells the story of the shepherds’ journey to Bethlehem to witness the first Christmas. This comedy is written entirely in verse, and blends political satire, popular culture and Spanish Christmas songs.
