About This Show

The wonderful response to “Pygmalion” in their past season prompted this production of You Never Can Tell, another comedy by the great George Bernard Shaw. In this whimsical play a nice young dentist finds himself caught up in the incomprehensible whirl of a flighty family. The children, raised by their mother without inhibitions in Madagascar, upon their return to England find that their upbringing has not properly prepared them for English life or for their renewed acquaintance with their extremely conservative Victorian father.
