Women Over the Influence

A Dramedy with Music. Cicily and Mary Beth are sisters. They have not spoken or seen each other in twenty years. In better times, High School, the two were the leaders of a musical girl group, called the Twinkettes. Circumstances bring Cicily back to Oakdale, the hometown of her birth, and her sister’s current residence. Cicily returns with the hope of “putting the group back together again.” What transpires is a very moving and funny journey in which the lives of five middle aged women are forever affected as they prepare to perform in The Starlight Lounge under their new name Women Over the Influence. The performance event in this play is the device for forgiveness, personal growth, hope and change.
