Thea was destined to be a poet. Little did her father know when he named her from a poem that it would send her on a life long quest. She’ll tell you about being stranded in the center of a volcano and take you on an incredible journey through Nazi controlled Europe. You’ll learn why older women experience cardiomyopathy. She’ll sing in French and Yiddish and recite the number pi to forty places. And best of all, she’ll rap about the Biblical Plagues in anapestic tetrameter! All this as she tries to live up to the meaning of her name. All proceeds from The Only Thing Greek About Me is My Name go to benefit the Save the Santa Monica Playhouse campaign.
