Taught 2 Dance – A Musical Memoir

In Taught 2 Dance, Melanie Chartoff sings and dances her silly, bittersweet tale of being born a performer and growing up to become a real person. Earlier excerpts of this work-in-progress, presented as part of 4 Women 4 Women, Fine Lines, and Half Baked: HORROR-ADVENTURE-SCANDAL-INTRIGUE-ABJECT HUMILIATION!, have been performed to critical and audience acclaim at Beyond Baroque, the Zephyr, the Matrix, The Hayworth, and last September to sell out audiences at Santa Monica Playhouse.
