About This Show

Shadowboxing is about a young boxer from the streets of Pittsburgh and his search for self-actualization, redemption, and an escape from poverty through boxing. The term ‘shadowboxing’ is by definition the idea of fighting one’s own shadow, one’s own self … when done properly it becomes poetry in motion, a dance with yourself against yourself. The show is written and performed by Grant Kramer, and directed by Sal Romeo.
