About the Show
Light, a world premiere by legendary playwright Jean-Claude van Itallie, is the witty, sexy love triangle of Frederick the Great (King of Prussia), Emilie du Chatelet (the beautiful scientist marquise), and Voltaire, the most famous man in Europe. The play illuminates Voltaire’s passionate, painful and incandescent voyage to enlightenment. Jessica Kubzansky directs.
