About This Show

Jack and Leo are down-at-the-heels touring Shakespearean actors making the rounds of obscure venues in the hinterlands of Pennsylvania. They devise a scheme to swindle an elderly rich woman out of her fortune by posing as relatives from abroad. Speaking of abroad, their plans will require the guys to pose disguised as women. Things get complicated when both of the fellows meet the loves of their lives, beautiful Audrey and Meg, at the old woman’s home. Love will trump greed, but will belated attacks of honesty prevail before Leo and Jack’s fraud is exposed and they’re arrested? Will the guys get the girls, or will their deception blow up in their faces? Both Meg and Audrey already have male admirers. How can Leo and Jack, alias Maxine and Stephanie win out? If all this wasn’t complicated enough, Meg finds herself attracted to Leo’s altar ego, Maxine. You’ll laugh and laugh and laugh.
