James Joyce’s The Dead

The Ahmanson Theater presents the critically-acclaimed production of the new musical play James Joyce’s The Dead. Based on Joyce’s classic Irish short story, the setting is the Christmas party of Gabriel Conroy’s music loving aunts, where three generations gather each year for a holiday feast. This year, a guest’s song awakens a memory for Gabriel’s wife and revives a long buried passion.
