About This Show

Crazy and A Half, an evening of one-act comedies by D.R. Andersen, features five comedies that take a sly look at therapists, patients, and the way love drives everyone a little over the edge. In the first three, collectively called “New York Crazy”, two therapists fight for the only hour left in their shrink’s day; a New Yorker struggles with custody issues while a therapist eases his pain; and a demure New York housewife visits her long-term therapist for one last couseling session. ‘California Crazy’ shifts to the west coast where a wacky young woman in a bunny suit teaches a stuffy head-doctor a thing or two about love; and a married couple with intergalactic problems seeks treatment from a husband and wife team of marriage counselors who are, themselves, on the verge of divorce. Jason Broad and Keith Hoffman direct.
