San Juan Capistrano’s long established community theatre, The Camino Real Playhouse, presents their annual melodrama just as the Swallows are returning to Capistrano. Yes, it is time to once again Boo the Villain, Cheer for the Hero and sigh for the Heroine in Distress in this live melodrama-style-entertainment suitable for the entire family. Gary McCarver once again does double duty; writing the script and lyrics for Chaos at the Cannery and returning on stage as the Villainous Scoundrel Professor Phinneas Mack.
