About This Show

Kander and Ebb’s musical, Cabaret is set in Berlin at the beginning of the Third Reich. The story follows the romance of an English cabaret performer and an American writer. Through the songs of the Cabaret’s Emcee, the audience witnesses the political changes taking place.

Cabaret is based on the play by John Van Druten and Stories by Christopher Isherwood. Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Joe Masteroff. Diane Doyle directs.
