Brothers of The Knight

Debbie Allen directs and choreographs a revival of her dance musical Brothers of The Knight, featuring music by James Ingram.

The production, which features young local talent, is based on The Brothers Grimm fairy tale “The Twelve Dancing Princesses.” It concerns the young Knight Brothers, who are forbidden to dance by their strict preacher father. They continue to sneak out night after night and the only clues to where they go are the torn-up shoes by their beds the next morning. When the housekeeper with magical powers catches onto their secret, will she turn them in?
