About This Show

A Dr. Jeuss Christmas is an alternative holiday play concerning the world’s richest kid, Simon Thaddeus Mulberry-Pew who makes the Grinch look saintly. Simon, the owner of two billion toys, is supremely selfish. He’s just bad. His nemeses are two good kids, Sammy and Tammy, who come from a poor family. Sammy and Tammy are friends of two creatures , the Whizzit and his pal Mumpus, who are there to foil the nasty schemes of the bullying Simon.
Mr. Christmas (think Santa in an alternate reality) flies around the world on a steer bringing toys to good kids and parcels of dung to bad kids. Simon seeks revenge on Mr. Christmas when the bad kid deploys the destructive robot Galaxus 5000. Can Sammy and Tammy and the Whizzit save Mr. Christmas in time, so that good kids all over the world will get their Christmas presents? Not coincidentally, the cadence of the text of this show sounds remarkably like that of another beloved children’s author whose name rhymes with Jeuss.
