Oscar winner Haley Mills makes her Cape Playhouse debut in Frederick Knott’s classic thriller, Wait Until Dark. The scene – the Greenwich Village apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy. Within the apartment, a toy doll Sam had been persuaded to bring across the Canadian border by a mysterious lady. A sinister con man and two ex-convicts show up looking for this toy that holds the key to money, murder, and mayhem. A deadly game of cat and mouse begins as Susy recognizes a bizarre charade is being played. Darkness falls before the secrets are brought into the light, and this game comes to its shocking conclusion!
