In Honor of Black History Month, The Regent Theatre will host a special screening of the 1970 Oscar nominated documentary, King: A Filmed Record – From Montgomery to Memphis. Film is the the landmark documentary that chronicles the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.—and his non-violent campaign for civil rights and social justice—from the beginnings of the Civil Rights movement in Montgomery, Alabama, and culminating with his assassination in Memphis in 1968.
