About This Show

Memorial Day, 7 am. The disenfranchised residents of the decaying Hotel Baltimore are pushed further to the edge as they face eviction from the condemned structure. Over the course of this one day an eclectic and eccentric cast of characters from every walk of life meet in the lobby. We overhear their conversations about the passing events of their lives, simple everyday encounters. Out of these exchanges each character emerges clearly defined, the sum total of what they are-or wish they were – and playwright Lanford Wilson presents a poignant view of the human comedy. Directed by David Allen George.
