About This Show

Et in Arcadia ego. "Even in Paradise," so says Death, "there I am." Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia examines the universe’s influence in our lives; it blurs edges between past and present, science and art, order and disorder, and the certainty of knowledge.

Set in an English country house in both 1809-1812 and present day, the play concerns the discoveries of two modern scholars — and the fates of those who lived in the estate and its gardens over 200 years earlier.

Innovative theatre-in-the-round staging, in which the audience surrounds the actors on the Wimberly stage, brings the spectator very close to the action of the play and makes for an exciting and thought-provoking experience of this contemporary masterpiece.

Arcadia is the first offering in Bad Habit Productions’ Fifth Anniversary Season and is directed by Artistic Director Daniel Morris.
