An offbeat comedy that unravels notions of family, race, and giving away the store.
Meet the sweet, trashy, and slightly hot Kathy, the newly widowed owner of a hardware store. Kathy hasn't quite been herself lately...not only did she yarn-bomb the family hardware store (which, if it were a craft store, would have been FANTASTIC), she also gave it away to a complete stranger. Needless to say, her big-mouthed college-age daughter is just a tad PO'd, and she wants the store back. This brand new play by Maine playwright Callie Kimball examines the pushes and pulls of family, community, and race in a funny and heartfelt way.
