About This Show

In Travesties, it is 1917, and Henry Carr, a consulate official in Zurich, presents the story of his life and his involvement with three revolutionary figures of the 20th century: James Joyce, Lenin and the Dadaist Tristan Tzara. His memory, however, is prone to distraction, and we are taken on a journey not into historical biography, but into the maze of his mind, skipping back and forth through time in an adventure.
