The Wharton One-Acts features two comedies adapted from Edith Wharton. Roman Fever places two women, lifelong acquaintances, both widowed and mothers of grown daughters, on a deserted terrace of a Roman restaurant where they pass the afternoon struggling through memories. The Other Two focuses on a confirmed bachelor who finally marries the woman of his dreams, only to find that he has been preceded by two men with whom her life remains inextricably intertwined.
