About This Show

Kevin G. Coleman directs this witty romantic-comedy by William Shakespeare. Set in an Italian principality, the play examines budding romance, sparring lovers, misunderstandings and revenge. Don Pedro and his men return victorious from the wars. Upon their return, their relationships with the women they left behind erupt into a friendly battle of the sexes, with mock enemies Beatrice and Benedick (the confirmed bachelor) leading the charge. The production is performed by the Summer Performance Institute.
