Whitney Bashor, Kevin Kern, and More Complete the Cast of Broadway's The Bridges of Madison County
The new musical begins performances in January.
Complete casting has been announced for the upcoming Broadway bow of Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman's The Bridges of Madison County. Directed by Bartlett Sher, the new musical begins previews January 17, with an opening set for February 20, at the Schoenfeld Theatre.
Joining the previously announced Kelli O'Hara, Steven Pasquale, Hunter Foster, Cass Morgan, Michael X. Martin, Caitlin Kinnunen, and Derek Klena will be an ensemble that features Whitney Bashor, Jennifer Allen, Ephie Aardema, Katie Klaus, Luke Markinovich, Aaron Ramey, Dan Sharkey, Tim Wright, Jessica Vosk, Charlie Franklin, and Kevin Kern.
With a score by Brown and a book by Norman, The Bridges of Madison County is based on the bestselling novel by Robert James Waller and tells the story of a lonely Italian housewife (O'Hara) who begins an affair with a National Geographic photographer (Pasquale).
