UPDATED: Complete Casting Announced for Off-Broadway's Around the World in 80 Days
Bryce Ryness will lead the cast of five at The New Theatre at 45th Street.

March 22, 2013 - Drama Desk Award nominee Bryce Ryness (Hair) will portray Phileas Fogg in the new adaptation of the Jules Verne novel Around the World in 80 Days by Mark Brown (The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge). Rachel Klein (The Tragedy of Maria Macabre) will direct. The show begins previews May 9 for an opening May 30 at the New Theatre at 45th Street.
Set in 1872, eccentric London adventurer and inventor Phileas Fogg, and his sidekick Passepartout, take on a bet that he can travel around the world in 80 days using various methods of transportation. Five actors will portray 39 roles. The rest of the casting will be announced at a later date.
The production team includes Aaron Grant and the Aaron Grant Theatrical Inc. Team as general manager, TheatreMama as marketing consultant, and Daryl Eisenberg Casting as casting director.
